This hand carved wooden goat statue shows a goat standing proudly on a rock, head raised toward the sky. Carved entirely by hand from a single block of padauk (Huong) wood by artisans in Vietnam, it is a meaningful Year of the Goat 2027 keepsake and a striking animal sculpture for your desk, shelf, or home office.
The Meaning of the Goat in the Chinese Zodiac and Feng Shui
The goat (also called the sheep or ram) is the eighth animal of the Chinese and Vietnamese zodiac, a symbol of gentleness, peace, and harmony. A goat climbing a rock adds a message of perseverance: rising toward your goals with steady, sure steps. It makes a fitting zodiac gift for anyone born in a goat year (1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015, 2027) and a welcome symbol of a fresh start for the Fire Goat year ahead.
Hand Carved from a Single Block of Padauk Wood
-
100% hand carved, no machine carving: the spiraled horns, flowing beard, and textured coat are shaped stroke by stroke
-
Solid padauk (Huong) wood, known for its deep reddish brown tone, tight grain, and light natural fragrance
- Natural grain and color vary from piece to piece, so every goat is one of a kind
- The wood slowly deepens to a richer red over time
Dimensions
- Length: 25 cm (9.8 in)
- Width: 24 cm (9.4 in)

With a low, wide footprint about the height of a coffee mug, this goat sculpture sits comfortably on a desk, bookshelf, entryway console, or office shelf without crowding the space.
