🌿 Meaning & Symbolism: The Dhyana Mudra
The Buddha is depicted in the sacred Dhyana Mudra—the gesture of deep meditation and inner balance.
- The Gesture: Hands resting gently in the lap, right over left, with thumbs touching to form a subtle triangle.
- The Meaning: This triangle represents the inner fire of awareness—quietly dissolving distractions, stress, and emotional noise. It symbolizes harmony and focused energy, acting as a silent guide for your personal mindfulness practice.
- Placement: Ideal as a focal point in a meditation corner, a calming presence in an executive office, or a welcoming symbol at the entrance of a yoga or wellness space.
🌿 Craftsmanship & Material
Carved from solid African Padauk—not molded, not hollow—this piece carries both physical and spiritual weight.
- Grounding Energy: Dense and substantial, Padauk is often associated with grounding and stability, helping create a sense of calm and rootedness.
- Living Wood: Its rich reddish-brown tones bring warmth to minimalist, modern, or nature-inspired interiors. Over time, the wood naturally deepens in color, developing a beautiful aged patina unique to each piece.
- Origin: Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Vietnam's traditional wood carving villages, preserving generations of craftsmanship.
🌿 Versatile Design: Detachable Lotus Base
Designed with flexibility in mind, the Buddha and lotus base can be displayed together or separately.
- Full Presence: Display with the lotus base for a striking 19-inch centerpiece.
- Minimal Setup: Place the Buddha directly on a shelf or desk, and use the lotus base to elevate other meaningful objects like incense, crystals, or singing bowls.

📝 From Our Story to Yours
This piece is inspired by a simple memory: a quiet corner in my childhood home, where my mother would sit in stillness, surrounded by the soft scent of wood and incense. That space taught me something lasting—peace isn't something you find somewhere else. It's something you create, right where you are.
Each piece is unique. Natural variations in grain and color are part of its character and authenticity.
