How we carved our statues

Hand-Carved Wooden Buddha Statue — Start to Finish | Traditional Woodcarving

Supporting the Village

Every order placed here goes back, in part, to the families of Thường Tín who hand-carve these pieces. This isn't charity — it's fair recognition for a skill that takes years to develop, and that mass production has been quietly erasing across Vietnam. Choosing a piece here keeps that specific, generations-old woodcarving tradition economically viable for the people still practicing it.

When a statue leaves Thường Tín and travels to a shelf, an altar, or a quiet corner of someone's home anywhere in the world, it carries something with it: a living tradition, a family's livelihood, and a piece of Buddhist practice that's still, stubbornly, made the slow way.
